Dr David Dawson has been a Consultant Anaesthetist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals since 1986 and has been working in Sleep Medicine since 1997. He set up the sleep service in Bradford and has published on the impact of sleep apnoea on professional drivers and the impact of sleep apnoea on peri-operative care. He speaks on these subjects at international conferences. He practices at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, Ramsay Yorkshire Clinic, BMI The Duchy Hospital in Harrogate and the Leeds Nuffield Hospital. He also works as a contracted medical adviser to Philips Respironics and represented them on the British Lung Foundation committee on Sleep Disordered Breathing.
